Job Description

ABOUT THIS JOBA developer/ Data Engineer who can provide expertise on multiple phases of a project lifecycle from concept development to solution design, implementation, optimization and support.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement a live broadcast monitoring backend using various multimedia fingerprints
  • Implement a user interface for the business intelligence services based on broadcast monitoring
  • Test the performance of the monitoring system on real world data
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design and develop high-quality products on Core Java / J2EE platform.
  • The candidate will follow Agile software development methodologies and adhere to best practices in software development process.
  • Assisting the architect to drive selection of technologies & designs, for development of high performing scalable platforms.
  • Ensure that development progress is within expected guidelines and is completed on time.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUYou will be part of a global team responsible for ensuring availability of latest video metadata and will get to own the Application and its lifecycleQUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, design patterns, distributed systems and OO analysis & design.
  • In-depth expertise on Core Java & Java EE conceptual and programming skills, Good knowledge with Java Spring framework
  • Good hands-on skills of linux environment
  • Good eye for quality and awareness of best code review practices
  • Good problem solving and investigative skills to find the faults in data pipeline
  • Experience in working with RDBMS like Postgresql / MySQL / MS-SQL.
  • Ability to build configuration scripts using tools like Maven, Familiarity to CI-CD tools like Jenkins , versioning tool Git
  • B.E / B.Tech / BCA/ MCA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject with 2-5 years of experience.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times
  • Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced (nimble) environment
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience in Provisioning tools vagrant, ansible on linux platform (good to have)
  • Experience in working on public cloud environments like AWS. (good to have)
  • Project experience of ETL process or data ingestion (good to have)
  • Experience in working with Message Queue services like Kafka, activemq (optional)
