Job Description

    Dear Candidate,We are Hiring for Solution EngineerRoles & Responsibilties :-Location- MumbaiPosition: Solution Engineer.Employment type: Full TimeTotal Experience: 2 to 4 yearGeneral Summary: Primary responsibilities include the engineering, upgrade, technical overview, andsupport for our optical and IP/TDM transport equipment and services. This position is located at the company headquarters in Andheri East, Mumbai. Single point to contact for customer to address technical queries related to products.Required Attributes:- Should have good knowledge of the technology and operations of optical testequipment like SDH, OTN, IP Ethernet, OTDR, Laser source, power meter, Networkperformance monitoring. Should possess basic insights on IP/TDM, FTTX/GPON and optical loss budgeting,splicing processes. Responsible for pre-sales engagements with customers, develop customer relationshipand ensuring product fitment to meet customer asks. Responsible for addressing RFPs including technical compliance preparation, technicalqualification, working on design tools && BoQ, commercials terms and conditions,pricing etc. Working collaboratively with regional and global product management, marketing,network solution && validation teams to deliver successful end to end solutions for ourcustomers. Should have good verbal and written communication skills so as to be able to:-o Conduct demonstrations of the optical and transport test instruments.o Conduct presentations && trainings on best practices of use of such instruments. Should be willing to travel all over India and South Asia, and assist the local sales teamson all technical aspects in order to achieve commercial closure. Should assist in creation and implementation of documents and procedures to supportoperations. Should be willing to read and learn ITU/IETF standards/RFCs, testing methodologiesand wireline/wireless backhaul technologies.Desirable Attributes: - Familiarity with optical transport industry and technologies (DWDM, OTN, TCP/IP,MPLS, Ethernet), next generation technologies. Familiarity with operating systems and virtualisation will be preferred. Solid understanding of the latest market trends, from Access to Core Presentation and communication skills Customer facing experience Proficient in English reading/writing/speaking Proven experience presenting to senior level stakeholdersRequired Qualifications:- B.E in Electronic && Telecommunications. At least 2 years experience demonstrating the above mentioned attributes. Should be eager to learn new technologies and business details.
