Job Description

Working in an Accounts Payable team for vendor payment with thorough understanding of TDS compliances and returns. Also support the team in implementing better controls, completing ad hoc activities and projects.Key Accountabilities :

  • Scrutinize each invoice received from a completeness perspective
  • To keep internal records up to date
  • Support the team on all TDS compliances and return preparation and filing
  • Assist the team with ad hoc activities
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Ensuring daily payments are processed in line with established process (incl Foreign payments)
  • Daily recording of payment in Accounting system (PSGL)
  • Records and related files are kept upto date (incl system masters maintenance) and reconciliation and substantiation of the balances
  • Ensure timely and accurate TDS Compliance and TDS payments
  • TDS return preparation & filing including issuance of TDS certificates to vendors
  • Understanding and preparation of Clause 34 report
  • Regulatory Income Tax Compliance
  • Liaising and fulfilling requirements for Statutory and Tax Audit
  • Prompt response to all queries with proper closure
