Job Purpose :Entrusted with the ownership of the management of watchlist accounts, involving early identification of credit deterioration and proactive workout . The role involves deep rooted understanding of the business, inherent problem identification, operational and financial restructuring, in part or full to resolve the problem and up gradation of asset for the Bank. The role is integral to formulating structuring/exit strategies in pre-stress situations. The individual needs to drive the account management in collaboration with the RM where the CAE is in the advisory role and independently manage the account as an RM where CAE takes the complete ownership of the account and will carry the revenue target.Key Accountabilities :Closely monitoring of allocated portfolio of watchlist accounts, regular review of operational and financial performance, including memo and seeking credit approval, monthly cash flows, tracking performance of various industries which have a bearing on the respective assets etc,Representing bank in JLM and forums like CoC and driving bank strategy post due internal approval.In the advisory role, to be part of meeting with top management of the company and also be part of company inspection and factory visits with view to having strong intelligence on the company.Advising companies in a turnaround situation with respect to liquidity concerns, undertaking viability study, develop sustainable business plans and getting involved in the restructuring package.Management of watchlist accounts involves interaction with top management of the company, performance monitoring & benchmarking, adherence to terms of restructuring. - including visits to all material places of the business to negotiate the implementation of work outs.Handling projects which have run into problems, undertaking M&A activities, change of management, induction of strategic investor, divestments / sale of assets and investmentsThe role also involves working with Special Situation Funds to identify opportunities to sell the assets prior to the degeneration to NPL thereby optimizing the eventual exit and recovery for the Bank.The role also involves close co-ordination with the legal team for the limited cases which may involve litigation, interact with legal counsels for taking appropriate legal remedies. - If required.Required Experience :Overall 10-12 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Special Situations Management, Restructuring Group.Demonstrated skills in successful negotiation and co-ordination with internal and external stake holders.Experience of dealing with regulatory bodies and CIRP (insolvency) processProven track record in the corporate & commercial banking.Sound Understanding of credit proposals.Knowledge of competitors and market place.,
