Job Description

  • Database Monitoring with tools and must be familiar with ticketing/incident management system
  • Must be ready to work in 24 x 7 environment.
  • Strong hands on experience in SQL Server on premise as well as on AWS Cloud environment.
  • Hands on experience in SQL server Always-on, Log shipping, Failover Clustering setup, Database Mirroring and issue handling.
  • Hands on experience in Database restoration and Backup scenarios.
  • Hands on experience in resolving user related issues related to access and privileges
  • Must be familiar with all types of backup methodology and compression.
  • Must be able to raise incident with MS SQL support and coordinate to get issue resolved.
  • Must be able to raise incident with AWS support and coordinate to get issue resolved.
  • Performance tuning and Optimization in Database.
  • Experience with SQL server tools in AWS Environment.
  • Hands on Experience in handling multiple database environments on AWS Cloud as well as On-premise.
  • Database upgrade and patching in Cloud and on premise setup environment.
  • Microsoft certification and AWS Cloud Certification will be an added advantage.
