Job Description

  • Incumbent will be working as a Mainframe for Financial Planning applications in Wealth Management domain.
  • Incumbent will be involved in development and maintenance activities as per Bank of America standards and guidelines.
  • Work with offshore and onshore lead to develop code as per the project need and timelines
  • Participate in dev review of design document and raise dev queries to relevant stakeholder
  • Work with other teams as required for integration of code and fix the integration defects
  • Create design specifications and Unit tests
  • Maintain existing software systems as required
  • Ability to learn new technologies and processes

Responsibilities

  • Following established written procedures, guidelines and techniques, develops, enhances, tests, supports, maintains, and debugs software applications that support business units or support functions.
  • Individual contributor role, fully competent to work under general direction on the most complex projects, often on multiple phases, and seeks guidance and direction from more senior associates or manager, as needed.
  • Working knowledge of business or function for which application is designed.
  • Often responsible for the completion of a phase of a project.
  • Provides guidance and checks the work of less experienced associates.

Requirements

  • Education: BE / B.Tech . Any Computer graduate
  • Certifications If Any: NA
  • Experience Range: 6 to 8 years

Mandatory skills

  • Mainframe, Cobol, Strong knowledge of DB2, JCL,VSAM, CICS
  • Good communication and Analytical skills

Desired skills

  • Tools like Endevor, File Manager, BMC Utilities, Fault Analyzer, IBM debugger, SPUFI
