Position Overview
Real time index system architect
Scope of Responsibility:
Develop best practices for architecture, design, coding using the latest Java technologies
Implement automated software testing frameworks
Present ideas, system architecture and solutions to peers and senior management
Provide support to production system
Manage software release outside production hour
Collaborate with product management and data content specialist to implement new index product
Collaborate with the developers in a globally distributed development team.
Specific Knowledge/Skills
6+ years of java application development experience
Hands on development experience with Reuters, IDC market data system, or other market data system.
Hands on experience in low latency streaming data processing
In depth knowledge on multithread programming
In depth knowledge in Java performance tuning
Knowledge of Java continuous integration, version control and deployment tools like Jenkin, GIT and Maven.
Desired Experience:
Web interface development using React or Angular framework.
Desired Qualifications:
A university graduate degree in computer science or engineering
