Job Description

The qualifying candidate will be responsible for Bank of America Cloud Builds (VMWare Hypervisor Logical Server Build).

Primarily work as a Logical Server Build Team member and must have knowledge of technologies like
VMware vSphere (Expert)
Virtual vSAN (Expert)
NSX for vSphere (Expert)
Realize Orchestrator (Expert)
Realize Automation (Expert)
Realize Operations Manager (Intermediate)
Realize Log Insight (Intermediate)
Sphere Command-Line Interface (vSphere CLI)
Python (Basics / Intermediate)

Responsibilities

Installation, Configuration of Vmware Vsphere ESXi Hypervisors / BMP Builds
Certificate attachment / renewal for Hypervisors / Other systems.
Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting of vRealize Operation Manager 6.x, Log Insight v4.x, vRealize Automation v7.x
Capacity Management / Forecasting / Capacity analysis report creation with Log insight / VROPS for VRA.
Incident handling / Problem ticket handling experience, Vendor Engagement.
Installing content packs for third party storage, firewalls from VMware Solutions
Design and Implementation of VMware vRealize Automation deployment / Update with the help of VMware PSO Team.
Understanding VRO workflow / managing vRealize Orchestrator workflows to automate the VM provisioning
Configuring VXLAN, NSX-T management / Troubleshooting/ Firewall management for distributed firewall.
Job automation with VSphere-CLI scripting.
Basic knowledge on Python Scripting.

Requirements

Education : BE/ B. Tech./ MCA

Certifications: If Any

Experience Range : 6 to 9 years

Mandatory skills:

6+ Years of experience on VMware Spheres ESXi / Vcenter
3+ Years of experience on VMware VRA / VRO / NSX-T
Strong working knowledge on cloud computing back bone management
Strong experience on Scripting language
Experience in certificate update jobs
Ability to think out of box and provide innovative solutions
Ability to work independently and take up E2E ownership of tasks
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

Experience with related technologies (Banking/ Financial service domain are preferred)
