Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:As an Associate in Custody & Fund Services P&A primarily responsibilities will be to manage Xtrasheet and headcountand then assist the team on the annual budgeting and forecast activity, analyzing the reports and client reporting & MIS.

  • Xtrasheet and Headcount
  • Effectively managing the entire headcount reporting for CFS business through Xtrasheet tool
  • Involve and work with the Business managers on weekly/monthly basis to ensure and update the forecast/plan is correctin Xtrasheet
  • Assist the internal team in providing the accurate forecast/plan HC through Xtrasheet
  • Providing meaningful report from Xtrasheet and conducting reviews with the BMs with the analysis and commentaries
  • APAC Region & Central Team
  • Producing for the senior management key month-end reports like EMR packs, Performance reports etc.
  • Analyzing operating results and key cost/revenue drivers (Revenues/Expenses/Capital & Across LOBs)
  • Liaisoning with product CFO teams and IB Business Strategy & Analysis to understand business drivers
  • Supporting ad hoc requests for expense analysis and reviews
  • Supporting monthly and yearly forecast process
  • Other significant responsibilities include supporting the creation of client P& L including helping to understand resultsby industry/sector and developing a model to produce results to support it
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist in preparation of business review materials and other ad-hoc requests
  • Pro-active involvement in assigned Projects both BAU and non-BAU Identify and drive continuous improvementinitiatives

Experience and Qualifications:
  • MBA (Finance), Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional degree.
  • At least 8-9 years of overall experience (post qualification) with at least 6 years of relevant FP&A experience.
  • Commercially aware, proactive self-starter, results driven and solution oriented.
  • Proven track record of designing and providing value add decision support and business performance analysis (e.g.,driver and activity based analysis, profitability studies, business case reviews, zero based budgeting, modeling andforecasting etc).
  • Knowledge of allocations and worked on indirect allocations.
  • Managing and assisting in Central Team as well as APAC region deliverables.
  • Knowledge of Xtrasheet relating to HC will be beneficial.
  • Analytical mindset, structured approach with project management/process orientation.
  • Hands on multi-tasker, self-directed, capable of working independently and as part of the team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel (data manipulation, macros, v-lookups, pivot tables and Advanced Excel applications) / MS Access/MS PowerPoint skill sets.
