Job Description

8! The number of launches planned over the next 2 years. Your business acumen and communications mastery will help the world understand what these medicines do, why they matter and how Novartis is striving to reimagine medicine.Your responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Drive reputation building strategies and initiatives for India, and lead cross-franchise communications and patient engagement within Pharma. Ensure cascade of global brand and social media programs to the franchisees. Help create and execute innovative strategies towards enhancing awareness of public and healthcare professionals as part of market development and category expansion initiatives. Establish mechanisms to measure effectiveness and business impact of communications. Develop and implement comprehensive Patient Engagement strategy for relevant therapeutic area across the life cycle. Establish and lead relationships with leading patient organizations to craft external environment, collaborate on patient needs, and position Novartis successfully. Lead, collaborate, and co-create with patient groups coordinated campaigns/initiatives to craft and execute unbranded programs around patient needs and drive leadership. Strategically collaborate cross-functionally to bring in critical patient insights to advise brand strategies and key decisions (branded/unbranded activities, early development programs). Drive implementation of regulatory and policy/access patient engagement strategies in defined disease areas. Provide counsel, guidance and collaborate on appropriate patient engagement activities across all functions marketing, medical, market access, HEOR, early development, digital/innovation.Minimum requirements What you ll bring to the role: Minimum 12 years professional experience in Patient Advocacy, Policy, Media relations or communications role in a major corporation, trade association or public relations agency. Demonstrated ability to influence high-level media; and public health policy. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, brand PR, including excellent understanding of the healthcare space. Experience and experience in the healthcare industry highly desirable.Desirable: University Degree in Communication, Business or Science. Why consider Novartis 799 million.
