Job Description

Allied Digital Services Ltd - Job Code - SrNE-01 Profile of the position: He/ She has solid know-how of this underlying technologies. He/ She has experience in providing customer support over the phone and vie e-mail. This position has no direct reports and usually works very independently on the cases assigned to him/her. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with Team Members to develop and recommend strategies for network expansion, network security and enhancements by maximizing functionality of network equipment such as routers, bridges, firewalls, switches, hubs and network appliances
  • Perform network analysis, network monitoring, testing and capacity planning for organizations LAN/WAN environment.
  • Responsible for infrastructure designs, installs and testing of network topologies to support internet and other data transport channels across LAN/WAN environment
  • Responsible for low voltage network design and installation of remote facilities.
  • Works closely with Operations Team to help support remote branch operations.
  • Works closely with vendors to ensure projects are completed in a timely cost effective manner.
  • Responsible for various network projects including but not limited to Security, Performance and Capacity Planning
  • Acts as Tier II line of support for LAN/WAN trouble tickets .
Knowledge, Skills Competencies
  • Preferred Certification CCNA/ CCNP or equivalent domain knowledge
  • Good working experience on Cisco Routers.
  • Working knowledge on TCP/IP, Layer 2 Layer 3 Switches, LL ISDN. Working knowledge Wireless Network Wireless Security.
  • Sound Knowledge of Networking , Routing Protocols EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, BGP, FR, ISDN-PRI,RIP,OSPF Configuration, VLAN Configuration, Trunking
  • Basics of VPN and Firewall, Routers, Switches configuration, Configuration and Customization of IP routing gateways.
  • Information about Fiber Optics Cables and Fiber Optics Terminating devices.
  • Good Communication Analytical Skills
  • Excellent Problem Solving Skills
Desired Qualification Desired Experience Should have 3+ yrs of experience for desktop and 5+ yrs for server/ network in providing Level Support to all departments Schedule time estimates for projects / task deliverables, progress time estimates for completion.,
