This position is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to join a dynamic team with varied experience in Consumer science, Sensory, Claims and Appraisal. The global HC team is based in three locations: India (Mumbai & Bangalore), Port Sunlight and Casale.The general purpose of the job is to work in a multi-disciplinary business environment, providing critical link between the Global team and Cluster colleagues around the globe, ensuring the delivery of high-quality Evaluation and Insights to support our Global Innovation and 5S program.We are looking for someone whose background is primarily in the Sensory Science area.JOB DESCRIPTION:Business Context and Main Purpose of the JobThe role will be doing Sensory evaluation for Global R&D, HC Category based in India (Mumbai or Bangalore) - this would include understanding business requirements, designing sensory tests, reporting results and managing stakeholdersMain Accountabilities

  • Understanding business needs and crafting the Sensory evaluation plan to help the business in achieving these objectives
  • Handling sensory evaluation from start to finish through- Designing the brief, Commissioning the study, Designing the instrument for the study and working on the report and cascading the results to the team
  • Creating, training and monitoring trained sensory panels and consumer panels.
  • Updating the sensory methods practiced in line with organization s best practices by liaising with sensory experts within the organization
  • Helping innovation teams with designing and conducting consumer connects
  • Work proactively to run studies to understand category consumer preference drivers linking consumer and sensory understanding and present findings to the innovation teams
