Job Description

The Sr Software Engineer is a technical specialist in Web Technologies such as .NET Framework 3.5 or higher, SSIS, SharePoint, ASP.Net, C#, CSS, XML, JavaScript, SQL, Stored Procedures, MVC, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, SoapUI, dynaTrace, IIS, FTP, Web Services, CRM etc. and serves as the technical expert for all matters concerning Supply Chain and Logistics end- to- end solution applications support providing high quality support to our customer base. This role will also be responsible, jointly with IS Business Analysts for ensuring proper documentation is made for each system change requested and that adequate change control, rigorous testing is done prior to moving changes into production to improve the quality and minimize production outages. This position will contribute to improving the ability of business teams to adopt, support and promote Ingram Micro capabilities. In addition, this position will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the area of integration and monitoring the performance and reliability of applications to achieve superior customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Relevant Science and Math disciplines with an IT emphasis is required. Preferred 4-8 years of technical experience, with at least 3-5 years of experience with middleware applications or Master s degree plus 3-6 years technical experience
