    Sr Underwriting ManagerJob Code :JPC - 1419Lookingfor Immediate joiners or 30 Days NoticePeriod.What we are looking for Lending Credit Strategy and Operations team is looking for a Sr. UnderwritingManager to join and manage the credit underwriting operations of the consumerloans portfolio. The successful candidate will be a thought leader who can helpbuild a best in class underwriting program. In this role, the candidate will drivecredit policy changes and procedures related to underwriting operations, as wellas manage a team of credit analysts responsible for manually reviewing andmaking credit decisions based on the customers financials and credit worthiness.The ideal candidate should possess strong people and credit management skills,directly support continuous improvement initiatives, be highly analytical,resourceful, Customer-focused and team oriented, with outstandingcommunication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with keystakeholders. This is a management role directly managing a team of CreditAnalysts; demonstrated success managing a team is a must.Key job responsibilitiesThe primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Manage day-to-day operations for the Credit Operations team, whichincludes direct management of Credit Analysts responsible for dailyprocesses Coach and mentor Credit Analysts on policy, procedures and functionalinitiatives, and scale underwriting operations team Assist in defining policies and product features to support automated andmanual credit decisioning and monitoring Establish, constantly improve, and be a thought leader for a creditadjudication and performance monitoring platform Develop processes, mechanisms and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)to grow efficiently and in a scalable way Review complex credit decisions that require manual reviews or exceptions Identify, monitor and communicate the right metrics to measure processquality, decision quality and team productivity Participate in program operations, partner with product managers andcontribute to team-wide improvement goals Own relationships with Sales and Business operations to ensure balancebetween customer needs and prudent risk managementQUALIFICATIONS Demonstrated experience of consumer loans underwriting using financialstatements, bank statements or credit information Experience in managing, implementing and executing an operations andunderwriting program for a large, complex, national portfolio Interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skillsnecessary to build relationships and positively influence decision making. Experience managing and developing a global team Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders,including sales Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to recognize non-obvious patterns High attention to detail and desire to roll up sleeves and solve problems atroot cause Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills Growth potential to develop as a senior executive Bachelors degree or equivalent is required Experience in finance or banking
