Inform relevant authorities to take prompt action if you feel that guests are not satisfiedTo take full responsibility for the bar opening procedure and pay attention to the cleanliness and alignment of equipment, freshness and correct preparation of all ingredients, and stock levels of all bottlesTo carry and lift heavy objects as trained in the health and safety manualTo handle and move the objects, such as glass, bottles, using hands and arms as trained in the health and safety manualTo determine when a guest has had too much alcohol, attempt to limit problems and liability related to guestsPre-shift dutiesTo clean tables, chairs, restaurant floor, walls and internal glass areas To fold napkins To polish cutlery and glasses To set up the restaurant To stock up the stations for the shift (glasses, cutlery, crockery, condiments, napkins, tea cups, tea pots, sugar bowls, black clothes, trays, etc) To complete daily cleaning jobs assigned (see daily and weekly cleaning schedules) To check all menus and replace when necessary To stock the pass (sauces, cutlery, crockery, condiments etc)To change rubbish bags, napkins bagsAt-shift dutiesTo welcome the guests and seat them with care (pulling the table or chairs etc) To provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times To recognize guests and to remember the names of the regulars and to be in constant communication with managers To follow our standards with respect to offering the menu, serving drinks, punching orders in the pos etcTo follow our sequence of service diligently (see order of service manual) To be aware of return times and to maintain ongoing communication with your manager To escort the guest to their destinations ( table, bathroom, exit etc.) To pass guest messages to managers To ensure that all the necessary stock is being replenished during the shift To set and re-set tables To clean tools and work surfaces you use (blue clothes, sinks, shelves and surfaces, cupboards etc.) To clean and dry spillages ensuring red caution sign is displayed To welcome and bid farewell to the guests To check menus and bill trays To handle pass operationsTo ensure the smooth-running of the bar during service at all timesTo prepare the drinks and the cocktails according to our standards To pour wine and beer in a safe manner both in the dispense and the ground floor barTo wash glassware and utensils after each useTo serve food to guests at barTo take food and beverage orders from the guestsTo collect payment and balance cash receipts To ensure that all stations are kept clean to utmost standard throughout the shiftTo pay special attention to regulars and pxs during serviceTo learn more about our company and the gastronomic indulgence we offer, check into our websites at.www.kahospitality.comwww.hakkasan.comwww.yauatcha.com
