Job Description

SBU ASP > WTG Sales Management > Marketing & CommunicationsStrategy and Market Intelligence Analyst will be a valuable member of the regional Strategy, Marketing Communications team, which currently consists of 5 other team members. The Strategy, Marketing and Communication team is responsible for delivering market/customer insights, developing and improving marketing & communications strategy to contribute to sales growth, positioning of the brand in the market and organizational development.Reporting to the Asia Pacific Head of Strategy, Marketing & Communications, the Analyst role is a full-time professional position that works with senior management to support strategic planning activities by providing actionable recommendations based on assessments of markets and competitors, both existing and potential.Responsibilities

  • Monitor market and current environment and provide insights that support strategic decision-making and for use in internal presentations by senior leadership
  • Perform thorough, systematic analysis of key industry trends; the general social economic and political environment; legal and regulatory issues; customers; current and potential competitors
  • Provide market and current insights through presentations and reports to the regional and country team to allow effective strategic and tactical decision-making and implementation
  • Supplies the market and creative intelligence component of strategic planning, and creatively makes recommendations to management concerning key intelligence items that require further consideration
  • Maintains an in-depth knowledge of designated markets and trends through reading reports, market research, data manipulation and analysis
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key internal customers to identify emerging needs and business issues
  • Conceive and coordinate growth initiatives/strategy projects across Vestas India

Qualifications
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and significant industry experience in strategy, marketing intelligence, business analytics and marketing
  • Solid understanding of wind and renewable industry
  • Ability to network effectively at all levels and influence without direct management oversight
  • Proven strength in problem solving and analytics and capable of directing insight to action
  • Ability to articulate with good presentation skills and to contribute to executive-level discourse; good written communication abilities
  • Able to operate within a team environment
  • High level of competence with Microsoft Office suite (in particular, advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills) is essential
