Position PurposeGM IT EQD Application supports provide 24/7 support to different Risk and PnL applications. Main purpose of APS team is to ensure high availability and stability of the applications to ensure FO and MO users have required data to perform their day-to-day trading activities . Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities1.Understanding of roles and responsibilities of APS 2.ITIL process management 3.Monitor applications in scope with help of provided tools 4.Manage alerts for resolution and escalate for investigation. Act as first line of contact for user queries 5.Incident troubleshooting, communicate status to end users, prevent future occurrences 6.Enhance and provide ideas on the production improvements. 7.Automate and schedule applicative production and recurrent tasks 8.Work on projects related to application improvement, migrations Contributing Responsibilities1Study application evolutions with the development and business analysis teams 2Create and maintain documentation 3Gather knowledge and share within the teams 4Suggest improvements to help team reduce repetitive BAU tasks Technical & Behavioral Competencies Windows: Hands on experience on batch process and batch commandsUNIX: Good understanding of Unix command and scripts executions. Hands on experience on different flavors of UnixScheduler: Skills on batches scheduler Dollar Universe, AUTOSYS or equivalentDevelopment languages: Excellent knowledge on Shell scripting.
