Job summary: This position is responsible for the updates, maintenance, support and troubleshooting of the server systems of the BAUER Group including updates and maintenance of the applications running on the servers. Key Responsibilities: - Track whether new updates or security fixes have been released by the software vendor - Monitoring all servers, backup and storage systems using the respective monitoring system - Log File Analysis - Troubleshoot Windows and Linux Servers - Update/Upgrade Windows Servers (OS-Upgrades / Windows Updates) - Update/Upgrade Server Applications - Ensure and implement physical and software security - System Documentation Role Qualifications: - BE or Bsc in IT - Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in server and system administration - Good knowledge at least 3 of the following areas: o Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2016, 2019 o Microsoft Active Directory o Microsoft SQL 2008/2013 o Linux (Redhat, SuSe) o VMware vSphere 6.x o Enterprise Storage (EMC) - Ability to work in an international team - Flexible working attitude, willing to work in out of office hours and in weekend as needed - Communicative personality - Fluent English skills in speech and writing ,
