Job Description

  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot XP, Windows 7 and Microsoft Office, Open Office and any other authorised desktop applications.
  • Installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based environments.
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
  • Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment.
  • Customize desktop hardware to meet user specifications and site standards.
  • Email account administration, i.e., account creation and management and distribution lists on G Suite.
  • Responsible for the daily/weekly / monthly basis system backup & website backup.
  • Maintains I.T. records and tracking for the area of responsibility.
  • Data and network security, backup, and data recovery.
  • Detect, diagnose and correct the source of errors in logs.
  • Virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware)
  • Install, configure, test and maintain middleware web services, database services, and application software and management tools.
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Web Server related problems running on IIS, Apache, etc.
  • Working on FTP, FTPS, SFTP software.
