  • Manage the tableau server environment, service & capacity monitoring robust the process of service restart/DR etc.
  • Understand the tableau technical architecture, repository segregation, license management.
  • Communicate with business analyst to understand reporting requirement.
  • Design on dashboard & report and demonstrate to business analyst and stakeholders.
  • Follow the Software Development Life Cycle & Development principles in day to day development stuff.
  • Delivery of end to end technology solution in line with architectural design.
  • Reduce defects and change requests during test phases of projects by ensuring requirement and designs are completed comprehensively
  • Providing support during production release & high severity incident.
  • Manage cases with vendor on technical queries.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Act as Tableau specialist and Subject Matter Expert (SME) as well as work closely with Business Analyst and Data Developers to ensure data sources are accurate, available and analysable
  • Hands on with Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management).
  • Create and edit SQL queries within Tableau to build calculated fields.
  • Create interactive filters, parameters and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau.
  • Build and publish interactive dashboards on Tableau Server. Collaborate with Data Developers and QA analysts to test, clean, and standardized data to meet the business requirements.
  • Familiar with data refreshing mechanism, experience on HDP HIVE datasource setup is a plus.
  • Must have excellent verbal communications skills and documentation skills to maintain workflows and dashboard functionality.
  • Full software development lifecycle experience in a mature CI/CD environment
  • Programming languages (Javascript, CSS, HTML)
  • Experience on window server, ODCB datasource setup, tableau cluster environment management and setup, understand network load balance such as F5, SSL transport encryption.
