Job Description

    Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Endpoint Security Engineer with deep expertise in Tanium and a strong background in endpoint and network security. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing large-scale enterprise environments and be proficient in system administration, patching, and application deployment across Windows and Linux platforms.Key Responsibilities:Administer and manage Tanium modules including Patch, Deploy, Inventory, Reporting, and Client Management.Perform system administration tasks on Windows and Linux operating systems.Manage patching and software deployment using Tanium in a 10,000 node enterprise environment.Deploy and manage 3rd party applications using Tanium Deploy.Package and deploy applications using silent/passive switches.Set up and maintain Tanium infrastructure and ensure high availability.Troubleshoot and resolve endpoint security issues and Tanium-related incidents.Understand and apply Windows installer best practices and registry configurations.Work with networking concepts such as LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and WINS.Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Change, and Problem Management.Mentor and coach junior team members on Tanium modules and best practices.Ensure compliance with internal security and control policies.Required Skills & Qualifications:57 years of experience in IT infrastructure, security, or operations.Strong hands-on experience with Tanium (Patch, Deploy, Inventory, Reporting).Experience with Windows and Linux patch management.Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) is a plus.Solid understanding of network security and endpoint protection.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
