Job Description

    Tax Lead- Shared services -Mumbai- Provide leadership on the designing and implementing best-in-class end-to-end process within function.- Influence the stakeholders to bring in the change needed to implement transformational initiatives.- Conduct periodic strategic governance meeting to set and operationalize The Vision and Mission of the tax SSCResponsibilities :- Curating & delivering Key People Capability Building initiatives across Tax -Develop Framework focused on leadership development; - Implementation of key strategic group level global tax initiatives.- Design and execution of Leadership development & on boarding programs -Analyze, Design, Develop & Implement cost effective learning interventions- Act as a custodian and process owner for the entire tax SSC- Negotiate and ensure adherence to approved tax SSC budget- Conceptualize robust policies, procedures and practices pertaining to the tax SSC- Negotiate and define SLAs and KPIs for tax and be accountable for the overall performance of the KPIs and SLAs- Periodically review and define if needed the governance mechanism for tax SSC delivery- Ensure your business continuity, disaster recovery plans are in place and tested periodically1. Operational Management :- lead planning and budgeting of operational slash continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity2. Team Management :- Define goals for various services line in tax and appraise the performance on periodic basis.- Coach, Motivate & Mentor team towards operation sustainability within all regions and with optimum performance.- Effective review, execution and measure of impact of interventions including annual incident review.3. Experience :- 15- 20 years experience in US Taxation.- Setting up or managing large team sizes.4. Qualification : CA/MBA,
