Job Description

The Tech Assist team are the face of Technology, providing front line support for all Workplace Technologies and support requests. Delivering a customer focused service experience in a professional and timely manner. As a customer facing team, we are motivated to continually improve our services and are passionate about creating an outstanding customer experience and through our customer-obsessed culture.

You will need to be able to quickly assess the client s needs and translate these into action. The role will see you working across all levels of the organization, your understanding of the pressures attached to working on a busy trade floor with Traders and Senior Business Leaders will be important to your success in this position. You will be kept challenged working on interesting projects and take responsibility to manage some of these. We are committed to a positive work life balance.

We believe that for you to be successful in this position you will have previous experience in desktop support role, ideally in an investment bank. Experience supporting both Equities and Asset Management businesses. Experience using/supporting products such as; Office 365, WebEx, iPhone/iPad devices. Good understanding and experience supporting Market Data applications such as Bloomberg, Fidessa, Factset, GreekSoft. Knowledge of Exchange connectivity and Data center would be advantageous. Demonstrate previous experience implementing Service or Process improvements and automation.

You will have excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to communicate and build relationships with internal clients across multiple divisions and geographies. Curiosity, self-motivation and passion, proactive, able to challenge status quo and norms. Sense of teamwork, inspire and work well with others. Problem solving skills and ability to think laterally and find solutions. Ability to work in a challenging fast paced environment and demonstrates follow through and ownership of issues
