"Dear Candidate,Greetings for the day!We are hiring forTech Lead (OPS) Hands on roleRoles and Responsibilities:Oversee the overall project both from a technical and a project management perspective. Facilitate effective communication among the team members, the project sponsor and project customers. Profiles having primarily project mgmt. experience supporting overseas customers. Coordinate the entire project with the project sponsor as well as the team. Create project plan and adhere to agreed timelines. Manage resources, defined policies, processes and procedures. Handle the required compliance requirements if any. Report project status to the project sponsor, project customers and stakeholders. Proactively understand and report risks and gaps, and escalate them to relevant parties. Secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the project sponsor and all the stakeholders. Own the overall delivery of the project per defined SLAs. Mentor and lead team members on a technical basis. Troubleshoot and mitigate escalated problems arising in the operation of the software, both by following relevant run-books and by explorative investigation. Oversee creation and maintenance of knowledge base. Co-ordinate periodic, scheduled as well as ad-hoc meetings with both internal stakeholders and the project sponsor. Secondary Responsibilities:Own any activity pertaining to the project. Mitigate active system problems by understanding their nature, devising mitigation steps and executing them. Oversee continuous integration/deployment pipeline. Maintain and expand operational runbooks. Technical Skills: Exposure on virtualization and container technologies such as OpenStack, VMware, Linux KVM and Docker. Networking experience with switches, firewalls. Basic knowledge on networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, SSL VPN, DNS and DHCP Knowledge of Linux networking such as Quagga and Iptables Working knowledge of web servers and application servers Scripting knowledge. Preferred languages GNU Bash and Python Experience in cloud IaaS/PaaS such as AWS and Azure Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, PXE Optional: Prior experience / knowledge of SDWAN and related technology Soft Skills: Strong customer service orientation so as to hear out the customer first and understand the situation Excellent and assertive/persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal, so as to represent Netmagic Self-driven and motivated to achieve success.
