Candidates will be responsible for defining next generation architecture for PerkinElmer Automation Liquid Handling products. Duties include designing and implementing large scale, quality, high performance, resiliency, and security ALH platform.The successful candidate will have significant software design experience, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to document technical documentations and mentor development team.Duties and Responsibilities:Understand the current design and architecture of the WinPREP software and perform Gap Analysis based on new requirements Lead the effort to port WinPREP software to WPF with Company s JANUS team Ensure usage of scalable and futuristic technology stack for this transition Ensure the transition considers the user requirements along with technology upgrade Provide technical support to other technical requirements in the period of the SOWJob Requirements:B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent 10+ years industry experience in Software Engineering Strong proficiency with C#/C++ programming language and .NET and Visual Studio development tools Strong sense of ownership, passionate, detail-oriented, analytical mindset, perfection seeker Very familiar with Agile development methodologies Very familiar with version control, bug tracking systems and procedures Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication and collaboration skills Experience with communication protocols, such as RS232, CAN and TCP/IP Experience with SQL Server or Oracle database is a plus Experience working and highly distributed teams and offshore Experience with medical device, family with 21 CFR Part 807 Experience with automated builds, automated test runs, and commercial installers a plus.,
