Responsibilities

• Design and develop high quality, enterprise grade technical solutions that satisfy business requirements
• Work as part of the development team towards continuous integration with aggressive deadline
• Strong development experience in Java/GoLang and related technologies.
• Contribute to the Design and develop high quality software for large scale Java/GoLang/Spring Boot/Micro-service Applications
• Participate in reviewing design and code for other team members
• Adhere to agile development principles while following and improving all aspects of the scrum process
• Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved
• Performs and/or leads design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solution.
• Come up with proof of concepts as requested
• Work as mentor for teammates, helping them to resolve their technical and domain queries
• Take ownership of critical tasks.
• Hands on experience in designing the applications considering all the possible conditions
• Thorough understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
• Assist peer organizations with activities such as performance, scalability and reliability testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Troubleshooting issues across environments
• Responsible for monitoring, optimizing and performance tuning
• Able to work flexible hours, especially during product launches and post prod launch support when required
• Work in a fast paced and challenging environment
• Communicate and collaborate among cross-functional teams in a cross-geo environment
• Contribute to documentation of new features
• Good to have: Experience in Data protection domain

Qualifications and Experience

• Must have experience of building enterprise, web application and/or microservices
• Overall 8+ years of development experience in Java 8+/GoLang, Spring/Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle, RESTful services, Rabbit MQ, JSON, Jenkins, Git
• Experience on working on docker
• Working experience using and static code analysis tools like PMD, CheckStyle, FindBugs
• Hands on experience in working on Linux OS (RedHat)
• Knowledge of InstallPackaging and Upgrade of Linux OS
• Hands on experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery and Test-Driven Development
• Experience using Jenkins, Git
• Knowledge of containers, virtualization technologies
• Knowledge of distributed, fault tolerant, highly available systems, networking and storage systems good to have
• Proven experience in operating within a global environment
• Good to have: Azure/AWS hands on experience.
• Very good verbal and written English skills
• Good to have: Azure/AWS hands on experience.
• A good team player in solid/matrix reporting organizations
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, take ownership
