• Provide a brief Develop robust, scalable, and reliable and optimized technical solutions using UNIX shell scripting and Oracle database.
• Re-engineer solutions for legacy applications using latest tools and technology
• Work as a solution provider in improving customer experience using technology.
• Identify and automate redundant tasks in day to day activities using DevOps Solution (Jenkins, Ansible, git)

Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities

• Good experience in designing and development of applications.
• Responsible for Developments and L3 support activities for a vendor based application which is used for Interest calculations of Corporate Deposits and Billing for International cash management and correspondent banking for Corporate Banking-Cash management domain
• Responsible for Test environments build, End of Day testing and monitoring, job scheduling and Monitoring and alerting of inbound and outbound EOD jobs
• Study user requirement, develop specifications, design, and implement systems in line with Group standards and regulatory requirements IN ORDER TO meet user (business) requirements.
• Handle development of projects using Unix Shell scripting, Oracle, WebSphere
• Further enhance, Trouble-shoot, understand & resolve problems related to existing systems IN ORDER TO meet user requirements and ensure smooth functioning of IT systems.
• Ensure to follow best coding practices, and provides functional and technical help.
• Should be a quick learner.
• Should be able to work in Shifts (09:30 am IST to 6:00 PM IST and 12:30 PM IST to 9:00 PM IST) to support application in EMEA region if required.

Contributing Responsibilities

• Banking domain Experience is highly advantageous
• Experience in Oracle Pl/Sql
• Experience in python or pearl scripting
• Skills on Java/J2EE
• Web application development experience.

Technical Competencies Mandatory :

• Strong Skills on Unix, Shell scripting and Oracle SQL
• DevOps skills: Jenkins pipelines, ansible, git (version control)

Good To have

• Good Understanding of Application architecture
• Strong understanding and working experience in Unix or Linux OS
• Python scripting knowledge
• Experience of working with any one of the application servers like WebSphere, JBOSS, WebLogic
• Experience in solving performance related issue in Java, Unix & Oracle SQL.
• Strong Understanding of complete software lifecycle
• Strong understanding of Release management processes
• Strong coordination skills and experience in developing and supporting enterprise applications.
