Job Description

    1. Identify, evaluate and qualify potential customers for business acceleration.
    2. Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, physical customer visits, social media etc.
    3. Build long-lasting relationship with internal and external customers.
    4. Troubleshoot and provide technical support to customers whenever necessary.
    5. Conduct product trials at the clients manufacturing facility.
    6. Effectively interact with the clients QA, R&D, procurement and top management for business conversions.
    7. Prepare and send quotations, product related documents to customer and follow up for orders.
    8. Maximize profitability by effectively negotiating and closing deals.
    9. Prepare sales plans and collection reports on daily basis that are in line with the monthly and annual budgets.
    10. Achieve the daily, weekly and monthly sales and collection targets.
    11. Populate the sales pipeline for the allotted region through effective coverage of market.
    12. Communicate effectively with the immediate reporting authority through daily call reports and take necessary actions to improve performance.
    13. Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and performance.
    14. Gather information about competitors and take measures to increase our market share.
    15. Ensure the availability of stock for sales through accurate forecasts.
    16. Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
    17. Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
    18. Promptly collect the payments from customers and maintain good track record in managing outstandings.
    Skills
    1. Freshers with Degree in BSc. Chemistry / Food Science /Food Chemistry/ Food Processing/ Dairy Science/ Microbiology and B. Tech Food Technology /Dairy technology or relevant courses can apply.
    2. Candidates with 1-3 years of proven sales experience in the relevant industry are preferred, while experience in a trading company is an added advantage.
    3. Proficiency in English and local language is mandatory while knowledge in Hindi is an added advantage.
    4. Proficiency in using Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    5. Flexibility to travel extensively within the allotted territory is mandatory.
    6. Passionate in marketing, sales, networking and customer orientation.
    7. Self-motivated with result-oriented approach.
    8. Salary is not a constraint for the right candidate.
