Job Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION:1. Work closely with the Marketing Head to determine the scope of a targeted project, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers through aggressive sales pitch2. Develop and implement sales strategies, tactics, and action plans along with the Marketing Head to achieve sales targets and business objectives3. Monitor sales performance, analyse sales data, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure continuous improvement4. Possess a deep understanding of jewellery products, manufacturing processes, gemology, and industry trends5. Provide technical guidance and support to customers and the marketing & sales team, addressing technical inquiries and providing product knowledge6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, jewellers, retailers, and distributors7. Understand client needs, preferences, and challenges to offer tailored solutions and address their requirements effectively8. Engage in regular communication with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and nurture long-term partnerships9. Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities10. Provide market insights to the Marketing Head and adjust sales strategies accordingly based on strong market analysis11. Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and workshops for clients and the sales team as & when needed12. Showcase the unique features and benefits of the companys jewelry products and services to prospective customers13. Attend trade shows, events and conferences to promote products and services and establish new contacts14. Coordinate participation in trade shows and collaborate with internal teams to manage booth setup and logistics15. Prepare sales reports, sales forecasts, and other relevant data to support decision-making and performance evaluation16. Collaborate with the finance department to manage pricing strategies and discountsQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:Bachelors degree in engineering is a must. It will be an added advantage to have certification/ diploma/ masters in business, Marketing, Jewellery Design, or a related fieldProven 8-10 yrs experience overall and atleast 5-6 years in jewellery sales, preferably in a technical sales roleStrong technical knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes, gemstones, and industry standardsExcellent sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving sales targetsLeadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a sales teamExceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsAnalytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret market dataWillingness to travel to meet clients, attend trade shows, and industry eventsProficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools is an added advantagePassion for the jewelry industry and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service
