The Technical Support Analyst position will primarily involve overseeing critical data processing applications to ensure their smooth running. This will include monitoring, troubleshooting, escalating and tracking of issues, and involving the relevant points of contact at the right time. The candidate will be able to prioritise their work and provide regular updates to colleagues. The candidate must also be able to communicate any service impact internally as well as to end clients, and also clearly articulate suggestions for process improvements. Following experience, career path can be into account management, subject matter expert, data management or core development ResponsibilitiesRespond quickly and accurately to all incoming client queries, identify the best course of action, and either resolve or document and escalate Monitoring & management of alerts, events via relevant monitoring & ticketing tools. Review/ support tools for environment monitoring and analysis including system health and performance. Coordinate maintenance activities and outages with infrastructure, Application management and service center teams. Identify root causes of technical issues in production. Identify key areas for automation and optimization to enhance productivity. Identify opportunities for optimizing performance and provide suggestions for development and INFRA team. Work with Product Management, Operations, and Programming teams to analyze and resolve client data queries Ensure issues are logged and tracked within the Jira system Communicate analysis and resolution to clients Agreement to work in rotational shifts including working on Sat/ Sun. No night shifts - There will be two resources working a 9-hour shift, spanning 6 days a week. Each will only work 5 days a week and will have overlapping shifts (7am - 4pm and 9am - 6pm IST) Assist in support hours of operation and off hour production emergencies. QualificationsUniversity degree, preferably in a finance, Maths or technology discipline Good communication skills, and the ability to discuss functional concepts with clients Strong analytical capabilities to understand dependencies in client data input as well as the service outputs Quick-thinker who can react in a fast-paced and dynamic environment SQL and intermediate Excel skills Basic development in C# or any other object programming language 3 years of overall experience working in IT infrastructure & Operations environment (Windows . Net Architecture). Experience with monitoring & ticketing tools such as Jira, Confluence, Nagios, LogicMonitor, AppDynamics, etc. . . AWS Cloud and RedShift experience a plus ITIL Foundation certified (preferred),
