Technical Support EngineerRole Summary : Offers the opportunity as an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join the team in Navi Mumbai , India.Responsibilities : Conducts all business activities in accordance to BHGE HSE policies , Legal Compliance requirements , and BHGE ValuesResponsible for providing sales support and technical selling drill bit product application recommendations Provide technical support in all aspects of drilling systems optimizationQualify customer objectives and needs Coordinates with Area Engineering teams to implement Area specific product strategies and best practicesMeet with customers on regular basis to provide technical support and recommendationsTravel to areas to ride in the field and visit customers at rig sites , customer facilities , meetings , etc.Responsible for product testing , analyzing and documenting product performanceCapture best practices in appropriate knowledge management systemsProvides technical guidance and presentations to customers relating to product performance and new drill bit technologyWill investigate unusual or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative actionsProvides technical consultation to customers on product and / or performance issuesQualifies customer for Drilling Optimization and Application Engineering projects and coordinates efforts.Handles special projects , as assignedQualifications / Requirements : Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification. 3+ years of drill bits technical or related experienceStrong MS Office experienceAbility to be on call outside of normal business hoursThorough understanding of well planning , drilling optimization , formation evaluation tools and rig operationsExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong organizational , analytical and problem solving skillsMust be a team player and willing to work in a team environmentDesired Characteristics : Strong leadership skillsGood problem solver that is willing to increase their knowledge base in drill bit and drilling systems applications within the oilfield industrySound working knowledge of the concepts of hydraulics modeling , drilling optimization and drilling operations A solid understanding of drilling dynamics / dysfunctions , and be skilled in the interpretation of downhole vibration data setsComfortable presenting in front of an audience of experienced peersRig site drilling optimization experience is a definite plusAbility to learn and use various computer tools to prepare data and visualizations for analysisExperience in a Sales and / or Applications Engineering role is preferredExperience working in a team environmentAbility to work independently,
