We provide you a superior foundation for building a professional career where you can learn, achieve and grow.Technology Regulatory Analyst at Morgan Stanley The Global Regulatory Client Engagement (GRCE) team within the Technology & Operations Risk department in Morgan Stanley is seeking a Technology Risk professional to join a global team responsible for managing responses to regulatory requests and monitoring resolution of regulatory findings. This includes coordinating technology related regulatory examinations as well as ad hoc requests for information and meetings.Responsibilities: The Global Regulatory and Client Engagement (GRCE) Team fulfills the following responsibilities for the Technology organization: Assist the Senior Technology Regulatory Analyst to fulfill all Technology regulatory information requests efficiently, consistently, accurately, and timely and to provide support on regulatory supervisory meetings o Analyze requests to define the response required, establish response deadlines, and identify impacted technology personnel that will supply and approve the response content o Mobilize the response effort by notifying impacted personnel and scheduling response preparation meetings o Collaborate with personnel tasked with preparing responses to technology-related requests to ensure the common goal of an accurate and timely response o Collect responses and review them to ensure they are responsive to the request o Obtain management approval on exam request response Liaise with Regulatory Relations, Legal and Compliance in coordinating Technology regulatory activities. Provide transparency to Technology Senior Management about the status of regulatory activities. Monitor and report progress on regulatory finding remediation Maintains an archive of regulatory responses to technology related regulatory information requests Support the technology regulatory change management process Serve as a subject matter expert on technology controls, risk management processes and associated regulatory requirements, *Experience: 2 to 5 YrsSkills Required: Basic understanding of: o Regulatory requirements and technology risk management processes including technology governance, cyber and information security, operational resilience, business continuity planning, systems development, project management, and supplier management o Regulatory supervisory processes o Risk assessment methodologies, internal controls and industry technology risk management frameworks such as NIST, ITIL, CobiT, and ISO 27001 o Experience with applying the principles outlined in the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) Technology Handbooks Strong analytical skills required to enable independent research and accurate assessments of adherence to regulatory requirements Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple demands and changing priorities. Detail oriented. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Excellent influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to draft high quality written products that are comprehensive, accurate, and tailored to the audienceSkills Desired: Prior experience in a federal regulatory agency as a bank examiner specializing in operational risk or information technology or experience in regulatory request preparation is strongly desired Technology audit or risk management background in a highly complex financial institution Industry Certification such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC Solid understanding of IT/Cybersecurity tools & practicesMorgan Stanley is an equal opportunities employer.
