Job Description

  1. Experience of handling and storage of petroleum products in bulk.
  2. Conversant with Petroleum Rules, SMPV Rules, PESO licensing, OISD standards, Pollution Control norms for effluent discharge, DISH acts, etc.
  3. Product receipt through ships at Ports, jetty operation, marine loading arm operation, pigging of pipe lines etc.
  4. Product storage tanks in fixed roof and floating roof tanks, tank gauging, sampling, product accounting , dealing with surveyors etc.
  5. Receipt , storage and handling of LPG / propane in cryogenic tanks.
  6. Tank truck filling of LPG , chemicals , gantry operation.
  7. Operation of LPG Cylinder filling plant.
  8. Rules regarding fire- fighting system in petroleum installation and operation of it.
  9. Internal / external safety audit of petroleum installation.
  10. Conversant with statutory rules and regulations of inspection, testing of pipelines, vessels, hoses, SRVs etc.
  11. Managing and leading a team of technical personnel in multi- location factories / terminals dealing with petroleum and chemicals.
