Job Description

      • Overall responsibility1. Work with team Manager and Sales to develop and execute vertical market as a sales team.2. Manage sales of the companys products and services in a protected territory in a large geographic area.3. Trained to effectively communicate with appropriate executives and managers to ensure proper sensitivity to sales needs.4. Ability to develop and execute sales strategy to target vertical markets and work in conjunction with inside salesperson to maintain and create new accounts to obtain sales quota per product.5. This person will report directly to the MD and Team Manager for vertical productJob Responsibility1. Manages an assigned geographic sales area or product line to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives:Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams. Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all companys products. Provides quarterly results assessments of sales within protected territory. Directs professional account management activities. Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales.2. Manages and develops sales and sales support staff:Manages personnel activities of staff (i.e., trains, coaches, appraises, motivates, disciplines, recommends rewards and termination as necessary, etc.). Educates dealers in region in terms of sales tactics. Evaluates effectiveness of sales strategy within territory, provides updates to Team Leader; recommends necessary changes.3. Establishes and manages effective programs and seminars to address the following issues: New account sales and growth to base through sales force. Sales of emerging products and multi-product sales. Improved seminar presentations. Pro-active competitive strategies and targeted sales campaigns. Proper use and level of sales support. Management of expenses of the area at a reasonable level. Business/financial issues on contracts.4. Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts through the Team Leader.
      • Key Skills: Key Skills: Business level language skills and cultural understanding of allocated market segment, able to converse confidently. Works well under pressure, able to make good judgements, decisions and meet conflicting deadlines. Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise. Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. Knowledge of sales, business plans, and business development strategies. High level of communication and negotiation skillsMandatory:1. Must have 4-5 years of product sales experience with two or more years of field sales management experience2. Extensive travel to cover Vertical market and work with Team Leader in their territory keeping national strategy on track. (Note: for an incumbent also responsible for sales support, customer support, and professional services upon meeting all requirements of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.)3. High level of communication skills necessary to develop and conduct formal sales presentations, represent Company to key accounts, negotiate sales, and provide effective leadership and motivation to others.4. External Contacts: Contacts with major customers to stimulate sales and promotional opportunities. Top executives of representative organizations and international operations to promote and develop business growth. These contacts require high-level presentation and negotiation skills. Various trade organizations and peers of other companies monitor significant trends and developments in the field.5.
