KYC related testing need to be conducted through ETL and DW conceptResponsibilitiesDirect Responsibilities

• Analyzes, evaluates and profiles the data gathered from multiple sources to create source to target mapping documents
• Gains a holistic understanding of a broad range of Retail Banking products, processes and related systems
• Have experience in Data masking at enterprise level would be a plus
• Working knowledge of Informatica, TIDAL, and OBIEE.
• Good at writing complicated SQL queries(complex query)
• Solves business-related problems using data-driven techniques. Looks for order and patterns in data, as well as spotting trends that provide strategic advice for business processes and IT solutions
• Develop test scripts, test conditions, input test data, and expected results for one or more test plans, including component, assembly, product, performance, user acceptance and technical architecture tests
• Follow the defined testing standards and procedures for testing projects
• Execute test scripts and validate product fixes
• Record problems and issues in accordance with the projects problem and issue management plans
• Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process
• Inform QA Manager and Project Manager of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process
• Be responsible for test activities including development of test artifacts, execution of tests, reporting issues/defects to the project team, and follow up on issues for the assigned projects
• Provides support software development services or technical support typically in a defined moderately complex project
• Conducts a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements
• Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions
• Analyzes software design requirements
• Coordinates with users to plan user acceptance testing, alpha and beta testing

Contributing Responsibilities

• Excellent communications skills with strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
• Experienced using HP ALM (Quality Center) for Test Artifacts management.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

• Proven experience in testing the data flow for Data warehouse systems.
• Good understanding of database and data warehouse concepts (ORACLE & SQL SERVER).
• Working knowledge of Informatica, TIDAL, and OBIEE any Big data tool would be a plus
• Good at writing complicated SQL queries(complex query)

• Specific Qualifications (if required)
• Bachelor s Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 4 to 7 years IT Software QA/Testing experience
• Minimum 4 years experience in Retail Banking
• Minimum 4 years experience in data warehousing
• Experience in data analytics, data profiling and source-to-target mapping would be an added advantage
