Job Description

    With a presence across all CIB regions, the Financing solutions encompasses all of the financing products and services for corporate customers from transaction banking to specialized financing solutions including vanilla Lending and Specialized Financing: Energy and Commodities finance, Transportation finance (aircraft, shipping), Export finance, Leveraged finance, project finance, corporate acquisition finance and media telecom. Testing team plays an important role in validating the FSIT applicationsThe candidate will be responsible as a techno functional resource for executing the functional, regression tests, and creating Selenium scripts for regression tests. Candidate should also have a Business Analyst experience. Candidate will be responsible for Plan, design, execute and report software tests.A BA/QA is a unique individual, one who possesses an in-depth understanding of the business domain and customer needs to define new software requirements yet who also has deep technical expertise in testing including the ability to write test cases and use testing automation software.The candidate must have good hands-on experience on manual functional and Regression testing and Selenium. The candidate should be well versed with working effectively in agile methodology.ResponsibilitiesDirect Testing ResponsibilitiesPreparing Test Strategy, Test effort estimation, Release and test Planning and scheduling of test activities, Capacity planningPerforming testing within Agile (Scrum, Kanban) teams (manual / automated).Testing of products with rich UI and based on JavaScriptReport defects and assist in their understanding.Analyse test results and track software testing metrics.Prepare and present test reports.Understanding client requirements and preparing implementation roadmap. Interacting with global teams to agree work package deliverables (functional, automation, performance and security testing) and ensure successful and timely execution of test activitiesInnovation and Continuous improvementDriving root cause analysis in the event of defect leakage/KPI breachIdentify the test cases or opportunity for automation in the projectInvolve in preparing automation effort estimations, automation test coverage analysisDirect BA ResponsibilitiesEffectively capturing business requirements to write the user storyCommunicating effectively with developers on explanation of user storiesValidating the end implementation of the requirementsContributing ResponsibilitiesHelps in reporting KPIsPrepare detailed report for each testing & releaseTechnical & Behavioral CompetenciesManual Testing : Analysis Test Designing, Test Strategy, Test PlanningAutomation Testing : Analysis, Automation Test Designing, Automation Test Tools (UFT/Test Complete/Selenium), Automation Test Frameworks, REST API TestingXML, Unix, Excel, ALMGood Inter personal and presentation skillsGood in verbal and written communicationMust be flexible, independent, self-motivatedGood knowledge of JIRA & Agile processes, *
