Job Description

Role SummaryState Street uses third parties to support internal processes and in the delivery of certain products and services to clients. These third parties are evaluated and risk assessed through our Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Program. State Street is seeking a dynamic and high performing AVP to play a key role leading the Onboarding Due Diligence Team. The Candidate will be responsible for setting the Onboarding Due Diligence strategy to ensure proper controls are in place, create efficiencies within the process and reduce aging of requests. The Candidate will commune the strategy to the TPRM Leadership Team and lead team members in successful execution of the strategy. The position will involve working with other pillars of the TPRM Program to support emerging Program initiatives and will require both strong leadership and proactive change.The Candidate needs to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be a persuasive, articulate and confident speaker. The Candidate will be required to effectively communicate with vendors, business unit management and key stakeholders.Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set, execute and maintain strategy for the team
  • Monitor daily activity and progress of the team; allocating and rebalancing workload as needed
  • Initiate communications with key stakeholders to resolve conflicts and provide guidance, as needed
  • Monitor SLAs; identify opportunities for process efficiencies
  • Create and maintain desktop procedure documents and FAQs
  • Participate in project management efforts including tests of Archer system enhancements
  • Flexibility in working outside of direct responsibilities to support emerging TPRM program requirement changes

Qualifications
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Experience within financial services sector (10 years)
  • Prior experience in risk management roles
  • Prior experience with third-party risk management
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Prior experience with Archer / RSA platform is preferred
