Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities include specific functions/ tasks/ performance objectivesThe primary responsibility of this position is to support the day to day Operations for Trade Finance Products. The candidate will report to a VP . The Associate is responsible for the management of overall operational performance as it relates to service deliverables. He/She must have demonstrated strong personnel management skills and must have the ability to effectively communicate and measure team performance expectations. The Associate works in conjunction with the VP and Process Managers to ensure service level agreements are being achieved. In addition, he/she is responsible for overall program management including:Ensuring that all SLA for operations are metEnsuring High Level of Accuracy in line with SLAManaging all the administrative and al activities for the teamEnsuring tight controls on Costs and BudgetsSetting the broad goals and Directions for the teamEssential Skills & Experience -- include specifics regarding academic/ professional qualifications (e.g. degree, university, results), # yrs total and # yrs relevant work experience, relevant employers, relevant experience (nature of work/ job functions)

  • Post Graduates with experience in any of Trade Finance products (Experience Around 8-10 Years
  • Good Knowledge of UCP 500/600, ISBP, URR
  • Well versed in all aspects of Trade ( Mandatory)
  • Good written & spoken English communication skills
  • CDCS Certified ( Preferred)
  • Well versed in document checking under letter of credit
  • Capable of taking decision on document checking discrepancies
  • Has good knowledge of ICC opinions and case study s
  • 3-5 years previous management experience
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Client focused
  • Uses initiative and readily questions
  • Microsoft Suite Skills (Excel, Access, Word)
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent trade industry experience (3-4 years) with primary knowledge base in Import and Export requirements.
  • Must be willing to travel if require
  • Control orientated
  • The ideal candidate would have a can do attitude
