Job Description

    Dear Candidates,Greetings of the day!We are Hiring for the profile ofTransition Manager Experience: 12 to 16 yrs relevantLocation:Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai.Role:1. Manage knowledge transition projects to transition services from incumbent vendor or customer team to remote offshore team, for Infrastructure support operations engagements2. Lead and Manage Transition projects on schedule within budgets, with high CSAT in line with contractual obligations3. Facilitate coordination and collaboration between offshore, onsite/onshore teams and customer teams4. Full Ownership for success of each phase in transition projects.Responsibilities:1. Transition Manager will be responsible for planning, tracking and driving Mindtree and customer transition teams spread across the globe in line with scope commitments.2. Act as the prime interface for senior management and customer for service transition engagement3. Plan and Coordinate activities for Due diligence exercise to perform scope baselining, on schedule4. Ensure successful service delivery transition of all activities, processes, workflows, technical knowledge, technical design and architecture documentation5. Align customer to follow well defined transition methodology, customize approach in line with customer environment.6. Ensure Staffing and skill readiness of Mindtree delivery teams for smooth transition7. Ensure seamless integration of policies, processes and workflow among integrated team of customer and Mindtree.8. Manage risks all risks with mitigation plans that impact budget, scope, CSAT and schedule of the transition project.9. Set correct expectations on the performance at each phase of transition and use of new or changed services.10. Ensure transfer of good-quality knowledge and information about services and service assets transferring services to and from other service providers11. Successful decommissioning and discontinuation of services, applications or other service components12. Effective coordination between SMEs, technical leads at offshore, onsite and customer stakeholders with Excellent reporting and communication to all stakeholders13. Conducting periodic Project governance meetings among stakeholders to review plan v/s progress.14. Preparation and communication of the project plan/schedules, daily, weekly, monthly status reports as per the schedule15. Steer daily, weekly & monthly calls and ad hoc calls when needed16. Ensure service delivery transition within agreed KPI target SLA measurement with continual improvement and high customer satisfaction.17. Drive proactive escalation process among stakeholders to prevent issues and mitigate risks to quality, cost and schedule.Required Skills:1. Overall 12-18 years of IT Industry experience in IT Infrastructure support environments,2. Ability to see big picture and Understanding of Strategic vision of outsourcing and transition objectives of client3. Demonstrated track record and 3-5 years of project management experience in end-to-end IT Infrastructure Transformation/Migration/Upgrade/Implementation projects and IT Operations4. Demonstrated track record and 4-5 years of experience in Infrastructure support services Transition projects5. Application support knowledge would be an advantage6. Should have strong knowledge on supporting Data Centers, HCI, managing Private Cloud, Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google), Virtualization etc.,7. Knowledge of various methodologies for Service knowledge transition8. Ability to estimate Transition Efforts9. Ability to prepare and effectively communicate status reports, presentations, and Schedule trackers using Microsoft Project Plan and Microsoft Excel.10. Ability to lead, estimate, plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously11. Experience in managing projects for clients from USA/EU/UK/APAC geographies12. International work experience is an advantage13. Ability to manage projects within Fixed Price Budget, Tight Schedules with Excellent Quality14. Effective Risk, Issue, constraint management to eliminate and mitigate business impact15. Customer and internal Stakeholder Management, Crisp and unambiguous Status Reporting, Articulation and Communication16. Ability to manage conflict within the team as well as with stakeholder groups.17. Effective direction to Team, coordination, communication18. Ability to collaborate eco system of enabling functions within organization, other vendor teams and technology partners.19. Exposure in execution of Multi-vendor, Multi-team, Multiple/Complex projects20. Willingness to work in shift and/or odd hours21. Flexible to travel on short notice22. Educational Background: Engineering Degree in Comp Science and/or MCA/MBA23. Certificationso PRINCE2/PMP (Preferred)o ITIL Service Management (Preferred)Good Understanding on Key Infrastructure technologies: Windows, Linux/Unix, Database, Networking, Virtualization, Databases, public/private Cloud etc.,
