Job Description

• Monitoring business flow through each of the 75 odd Nostro Accounts which require strong analytical skill as well as business understanding.
• Managing and fine tuning Trade/ Treasury products through existing/new Corr banks.
• Hence should have expertise in Trade Finance, Treasury, and Credit and remittance product.
• Online monitoring of Nostro Account and follow up with Correspondent bank for resolution without delay.
• Hence desired to have strong understanding on cross Border settlement mechanism and rapport with corr banks (product & services Team) Ensuring compliance to regulatory directives on on-line Nostro monitoring and control of swift payment messages vis a vis Mirror entries on near to real time basis.
• Hence need to have sound understanding on business mix, Branch network and strong communication skill so as to have timely resolution.
• To follow up with correspondent bank regarding clarification/resolution of pending Nostro entries.
• Correspondent Banking & KYC/AML procedure: To ensure KYC AML procedure for each of the Nostro Accounts on defined periodicity.
• Also to support treasury in KYC/AML procedure for Treasury counterparty banks Interbank Treasury Fund Management To ensure periodic publishing of FX cash flow to the Interbank Treasury on daily basis.
• Managing FCY fund management of the Bank so as to manage Inter Bank exposure and position in the market.
• Treasury Documentation: Monitoring & processing To understand regulation and process and keep him updated of the market developments.
• To be well versed with Regulations and product Understanding on Nostro, FX Deals .
• To ensure transactions are checked as per regulations and process of the Bank To be well versed on Nostro related controls as prescribed by the regulations and the senior Management from time to time Customer services & Follow up The position holder will be responsible for monitoring Treasury customer follow up through 18 regional locations for all the Treasury documentation including regulatory documents.
• UFCE declaration, SA certificate, LEI etc.
• ,RBS data / RBI return reporting related to FX Deals, which requires sound understanding on regulations and customer relationship management To ensure customer follow up, service delivery in time and to provide requisite data related to Treasury Deals of pan India Customers Audit Activities To participate in Audit activity and ensure compliance to process/regulations ensuring that Unit gets a satisfactory rating in Internal Audits.
• To respond to Audit queries in time To implement audit recommendation in the team.
• Liaison with internal and external customers/stake holders To liaise and meet with Correspondent banks for maintaining sound relationship and keeping abreast of market update.
• To keep explore new business/products in Trade Finance/Treasury areas and propose review by the senior management Liaise with internal customer like TAG, TROPS, Mid office, Audit, BPRG, etc.
• as well as external customer to ensure that deliverables are given well within time.
• To communicate with internal stake holders for follow up and resolution for outstanding Nostro entries, pending Treasury documents, submission of regulatory/legal documents by Treasury customers etc.
• Capacity Building To evolve a team equipped with adequate knowledge on Products and on applications.
• To manage training the new joinees on Product, process, system etc.
• and also to existing team members as per training needs of respective employees.
