Always safe. Always Simple.The Role Responsibilities The management and mitigation of ICS risk is becoming increasingly threat led to ensure effectiveness of controls. The role will report into the Head of Insider Threat and be responsible for supervising a team that will deliver Threat Action initiatives and produce management reports and metrics focusing on Insider Threat.Insider Risk is a threat to our organization from people within such as employees, former employees, contractors or business associates who have inside information and authorities relating to security practices, process, data and computer systems.Insider Incidents can be caused by Sabotage, IP Theft, PII Theft, Fraud, Espionage and Negligence/Accidents. In general, in the industry, insiders are responsible for 60 70% of security incidents. Using the NIST Framework (Identify, Protect, Respond, Recover) we have begun a holistic Insider Threat Management Programme (ITMP) to effectively manage these threats and reduce the risk to our corporate assets from InsidersStrategy
    • To lead Business Analyst activities for the ICS function deliverables on projects under the guidance of the Threat Action Program.
    • To ensure that the Threat Action Program delivers change that is accepted into Business As Usual operations, is sustainable and delivers expected business outcomes.
    • To ensure that the Threat Action Program is linked to other key projects understanding the connectivity, interrelated requirements and upstream/downstream impacts
    Business, Governance and Processes
    • Lead Business Analyst activities to address the scope of the business requirements across the Threat Action Program:
    • Work with Project Managers to ensure elicitation, documentation and delivery of business requirements.
    • Prepare and agree the key deliverables on programme level and ensure that the Programme Working Group have clear line of sight to these showing areas requiring additional focus, issues, risks and key obstacles.
    • Lead on key stakeholder engagement and management, both internal and external customers
    • Produce key artefact documents on programme level such as articulation of business strategy, mission and programme-level outcomes
    • Work with Business Analysts in workstreams/projects to ensure production of key artefact documents as required by Programme/Project Management Standards.
    • Work with business stakeholders to ensure that the changes to processes, controls and systems are implemented as required and to the level of skill and professionalism expected.
    • Oversee and deliver training materials and communications for staff in cooperation with the ICS TR Communications Manager
    • Support business stakeholders on embedding changes in the business for BAU
    • Ensure traceability of regulatory requirements through to business solutions including the retention of project records and specifically a record of decisions made, and external advice received.
    • Ensure appropriate engagement and communications across the project teams with regards to business requirements; working with appropriate functions to develop a communications plan and ensuring that appropriate governance committees are updated and approve key matters
    • Identify key risks to SCB and work with project managers to establish plans to address key risks, such as:
    • Evolution of regulatory requirements
    • Technology and process changes (delivery timescales and aligning to strategic developments)
    • Operational Risk Framework alignment
    • Alignment with Conduct developments
    People and Talent
    • Provide leadership, management and coaching to the team to ensure they are highly engaged and performing to their potential.
    • Promote and embed a culture of openness, trust and risk awareness, where ethical, legal, regulatory and policy compliant conduct is the norm.
    Risk Management
    • Assist with preparation of materials for governance meetings as required including Board quality presentations
    • Ensure that issues, risks and interdependencies are identified, managed and resolved and ensure a robust escalation process is in place where PMO, Accountable Executive and attendees within the designated QPR, MPR and Refinement Forums are required to manage mitigating actions
    • Ensure key person risks (BAU and project) are mitigated
    Regulatory & Business Conduct

    Other Responsibilities
    • Excellent organisation and leadership skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines and effectively prioritise
    • Experience influencing relevant stakeholders and decision makers, and executing decisions efficiently and consistently
    • Proven ability to provide oversight and govern highly complex, global, pan-bank, multi-year programmes by driving collaboration and participation by functions, Regions and countries.
    • Extensive change and project management experience, ideally gained in the financial industry
    • Recognised qualifications/certifications in Project and Change Management, Cybersecurity, Risk Governance and Compliance
    Our Ideal Candidate
    • Preferred minimum academic qualification - Degree in Computer Sciences / Technology
    • A minimum of 10+ years experience as a technology Business Analyst is required
      • With at least 5 years in combined Project Management, and ideally 5 years in Cyber Security and 2 years in Threat Management
    • Must have worked on global enterprise scale application developments and implementations, preferably in an Agile environment.
    • Must have Hands on experience as a Business Analyst in writing user stories and working with scrum team and Product Owners.
    • Strong knowledge of the businesses, markets and operations of Standard Chartered Bank and relevant policies, procedures, and processes
    • Ability to foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at appropriate level ensuring open cooperative environment
