Golang Backend Engineer CONTRACTUAL FOR 6 MONTHS TO 1 YEARRemote OpenExperience Required: 5 to 7 yearsBudget: INR Upto 1L/month FixedIMMEDIATE JOINERS ONLY.Preferred (Bonus) Skills:Prior experience working with gRPC workers Lambda-based orchestrationExposure to cloud-native architectures on AWSExperience with CI/CD pipelines in mono-reposUnderstanding of scalable backend design patternsPosition Overview:We are looking for an experienced Golang Backend Engineer to build backend services. The engineer will work within our Conduit mono-repo, which houses gRPC workers and AWS Lambda functions, and will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, production-grade APIs. This role requires strong hands-on experience in GoLang, Protocol Buffers, gRPC, and database-driven backend systems, with a clear understanding of service-to-service communication patterns. The developer will be allocated to work directly within existing repositories with access to required repositories (Conduit & Proto).Key Responsibilities:Develop backend APIs using GoLang Work within a mono-repo architecture (Conduit repo) that includes gRPC workers and AWS Lambda functionsDesign and create database tables aligned with application requirements Define and implement Protocol Buffers (Protos) for service contractsBuild gRPC workers to handle core business logic and interact with databasesDevelop Lambda functions that act as the interface layer for the application and invoke gRPC workers forbackend processingEnsure clean separation of concerns between Lambda, gRPC workers, and database layers Follow existing engineering standards, patterns, and best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align on API design and backend workflows Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with GoLang (Golang)Experience working in mono-repo architecturesSolid experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers Backend API development experience in distributed systemsExperience creating and managing database schemas and tablesHands-on experience with AWS LambdaUnderstanding of backend service orchestration and data flowFamiliarity with microservices-style backend systems 4 years of experience
