Job Description

    JOB TITLE: Senior Manager Supply PlanningReporting to: GM Sales & Operation PlanningLOCATION: Head Office, Mumbai JOB PURPOSE: As the mid-level Supply Planning Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating our supply planning operations. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our supply planning processes are efficient and effective, enabling us to meet our customer needs in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will ensure production plans capture complete demand and meet service commitments.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: SUPPLY PLANNING
    • Convert the Sales plan into production plan for plants and ensure that demand supply match.
    • Coordinate with Plant orders to ensure the production plan is met. KPI will be Plant CLIP.
    • Monitor inventory levels and develop plans to optimize inventory management and reduce waste.
    • Work with production and procurement teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of raw materials, components, and finished goods to customers.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply chain solutions.
    • Monitor and report on supply planning KPIs, including delivery performance, inventory levels, and cost metrics.
    OPTIMIZE DEMAND AND SUPPLY
    • Coordinating with the Production Plants, Raw Materials, Outsourcing / Subcontracting Units, Product Management Team to optimize the demand & Supply.
    SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYTICS
    • Inventory, Production, Availability & Capacity, and accessories requirement analysis - Production compliances, track inventory at Plant levels
    PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
    • Weekly Customer SKU OTIF in OE. Exports ETD commitment adherence
    Requirements:
    • PGDM/MBA in Operations/Supply Chain
    • 6+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing industry
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and supply chain management software
    • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
