Dear Candidates,Greeting From Vvinayak Associates !!We have Urgent Opening forEMEA Logistics Specialist Team Leader for an American MNC Company based at Andheri Location.We are Looking Experience in EMEA / APAC or International Countries who have Manage Team Management, Logistics, SAP, International Countries, Warehouse Management, 3 PL, Import, ExportJOB SUMMARY:PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESSupervisor role
• Provide and update for the team working tools to track open/shipped deliveries
• Constantly track open deliveries over the day, liaise with team members to verify status of ongoing deliveries, and address criticalities that may occur also by promptly escalating to the MM SC&L audience.
• Check correctness of documentation prepared by the team (i.e booking with carriers, shipping instructions to 3PL); ability to request and obtain POD as and if required.
• Constantly check proper update of load plan is performed by the team and all known shipment dates (even future) are communicated to 3PL and Company team. At the end of the day, check planned deliveries effectively left warehouse, if not, highlight this to both Company team and 3PL
• Make sure proper track of shipped deliveries is performed by the team to ensure anticipation of issues during shipments and proper updates to customers are provided
• Identify and collect from the team any criticality related to open deliveries / track of shipped deliveries in order to present/address for resolution these during Morning Market Calls with 3PL and Company Team
• Responsible of annual goals setting for the Logistics Specialist team, mandatory performances reviews, annual evaluation and career path development
• Measure Logistics Key Performances Indicators
• Responsible for coaching team members against findings based on quality and personal feedback
• Conduct regular 1:1s with the team members, evaluating their performance and addressing criticalities
• Provide timely responses to requests from the management team and other support functions
• Able to organize and present data relevant to area of responsibility and group performance
• Ensure proper organization of the working hours as well as presence of the Team Members at the office.
Provide support to internal and external customers and interact with Customer Order Service
• Support customer service in their demands and set up appropriate logistics actions
• Provide adequate information about transportation price quotes
• Handle customers complaints and organize product replacement when requested
• Investigate root cause analysis for warehouse and transportation claims, ability to follow up and raise directly claims when needed
• Organize returns collection and handle returns when received by the warehouse
• Act as customer service for intercompany customers : receive and handle claims, create returns and credits
Organize shipments
• Work with the Demand and Supply Planning team to understand product availability and schedule shipments to match with constraints and customer/business requirements
• Organize logistics operations together with the warehouse, coordinate special packing and special delivery instructions
• Organize transportation solutions in line with transportation team directives: collect quotations, book transport, optimize loads, coordinate shipments with forwarders, and provide instructions for delivery
• Arrange, as required, same day shipments or any other special shipments with carrier and/or 3rd Party Logistics partner. Obtain required approval as needed
• Solve issues with logistics and transportation partners to ensure timely and quality delivery to internal and external customers
• Understand activity variability for the warehouse and take appropriate actions to ensure all shipments happen on time
Issue and archive shipping documentation
• Issue and verify documentation in line with EU and non-EU regulation, country and customer specific requirements to all partners (Incoterms, gross/net weight, etc.)
• Manage logistics part of letter of credits, organize inspections
• Ensure customs documents are cleared within a timely manner, send reminders to forwarders, solve issues and provide adequate alternative proofs when needed
Projects and continuous improvement
• Drive productivity improvements
• Support network change, specific process implementation
• Participate in projects impacting logistics activities
• Focus on issues, identify root cause and build corrective and preventive actions plans
• Maintain tracking files updated in order to allow performances measurement and process improvements (export shipment dashboard, return and claims follow up, open customs document follow up, etc.)
