Job Description

    Responsibilities
    • Setting the India EEV strategy by considering factors such as the mission and priorities of the department, resources available and insights from programmes, Programme Officers, local business leaders and other relevant stakeholders
    • Adapting and implementing existing programmes such as workplace giving and those that use employees skills to support young people to access quality careers, support female entrepreneurs to grow their businesses or build the capacity of non-profit organisations. This will be achieved, through activities such as
      • sourcing, onboarding and overseeing partner implementation organisations
      • grants and contracts management
      • recruiting and training volunteers
      • organizing events
      • seeking guidance from and reporting information to internal senior stakeholders
    • Designing new programmes to supplement the existing ones on offer and address emerging needs that will be impactful, successful and engaging for employees, including collaborating with local HR
    • Interfacing and forming strategic relationships with business stakeholders in India (incl. Lines of Business, Volunteer Leadership Groups, Business Resource Groups) on behalf of Global Philanthropy to harness the expertise and resources of JPMorgan Chase to drive the philanthropic objectives of the firm
    • Ensuring adherence to Firmwide and local policies & practices as well as applicable local regulatory guidelines
    • Ensuring a robust evaluation framework is in place to measure the impact of programmes on participants
    • Reporting and communicating about the impact of programmes internally and externally
    Qualifications:
    • 10 years of experience and proven capability to lead and manage employee engagement and volunteering projects
    • Experience interacting with executive management and senior leadership
    • Experience in a relevant area of economic development such as Jobs and Skills, Small Business Development, or non-profit capacity building is a plus / preferred.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-performance, professional environment, with quick turn-around and changing priorities
    • Demonstration of problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative
    • Desire to continually improve programming, seek information and look for new approaches to processes and practices
    • Familiarity with virtual and web-based conferencing tools
    • High attention to detail across all channels of communication
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications required
    • Capable of working to deadlines
