Asset Management India Client & Product teams cover functions that span across the entire lifecycle of a client. Starting with Sales & Marketing, the group includes functions like Sales support, Product Strategy, Market Insight, Data Management & Governance, Data Delivery & Solutions and Business Intelligence & Analytics. The Product teams, comprising of Research analysts, Investment Specialists (IS) and Portfolio Management teams are responsible for providing additional insights to our securities coverage universe, strategy design, commercializing and monetizing our strategies. The Client Service group caters to functions like RFP, Onboarding, KYC, Client Reporting and Fund level Governance oversight functions involving Product administration, Board management, Funds registration, TA Service Delivery, Product implementation and vendor management services. Fixed Income Investment Specialist Support Analyst Business Overview and Roles & Responsibilities: JPMorgan Asset Management (JPMAM) provides investment management products and services to institutional and individual investors worldwide. It offers the full spectrum of investment strategies from equities, cash, fixed income, currencies and asset allocation to alternative asset classes such as private equity, real estate and hedge funds.Fixed Income comprises of Portfolio Management and Investment Specialist teams which invests into a wide range of Investment products. An Investment Specialist (IS) is responsible for the overall portfolio, strategy design, reporting and communications with the client.IS analyst will be working closely with the IS providing support on the below set of functions.
• Preparation of Strategy presentations comprising of:
  • Performance & Market value
  • Analytics and characteristics of the portfolio
  • Details on Holdings in the portfolio
• Prepare of customized Client presentations for IS s review meetings
• Analysis of portfolios including positioning , analytics and performance results
• Assist with the preparation of client performance reports and investment review materials for new and existing clients and providing commentaries on performance drivers
• Assist in preparation of any other communication
• Monitoring guidelines and adherence for internal/external managed portfolios
• Co-ordinate with Sales, Consultants and RFP teams to cater their requirements
• Any other requirement of the IS
Skill Sets required:
• At least 2-3 years of experience in financial markets
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills (including data analysis and ability to understand data flows)
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Proactive, positive approach. Able to grasp/learn concepts and procedures quickly
• Good Verbal and Written Communication skills
• Time management skills & ability to multi-task
• Delivery focus and detail-orientation with strong commitment to accuracy
• Self-starter and ability to work both independently and as a team player
• Understanding of Equities and/or Fixed Income and the asset management business is a plus
• CFA/FRM candidature would be an added advantage
