Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY The Vaccines India BOP Lead (BOP) will be fully dedicated interface for assigned category, strategically partners with senior business leaders/clients such as Category leads, Country brand Leads and Sales Team Lead and Digital and works in collaboration with the Biopharma Operations Service delivery team to ensure current / future orientated solutions are provided to commercial team in a proactive manner to better serve HCPs and patients. The India BOP acts as the single point of accountability of the Biopharma Operations Group towards the business/clients and is accountable for building strong client relationships. A strong command of the business and bio-ops service catalogue and Digital marketing acumen is essential to advise on and broker Biopharma Operations services and draw on pan-BU and pan-Geography solutions to help anticipate and solve business challenges in India. The Cat BOP orchestrates service delivery to meet business needs and service demands while acting as a channel for client feedback, ensuring future orientated Biopharma Operations solutions are developed/provided/executed. The BOP will have sound knowledge on commercial strategy in order to orchestrate current services but also to anticipate needs of the business as insights to potential future Biopharma Operations services. Key Attributes: Responsible for managing key business/category, coordinating activities across other India Biopharma operation group service delivery verticals Orchestrates operations activities across the category to meet needs of the Pfizer customers Acts as a channel for client feedback for delivery teams and as a key influencer of development of future Biopharma Ops BOPs solutionsROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partners with senior business leaders and clients for the assigned category to ensure current & future oriented solutions are provided in a proactive manner to better serve the business
  • Serves as a point of accountability and acts as a trusted advisor to Country Manager, Commercial Leads, New Product Excellence teams, New Agile Team, Category/Brand lead category portfolio lead/ Manager and sales. While the category BOP lead is a single point of accountability, strategic partner between Biopharma Operations SD team and Commercial Teams; ensures close partnership/collaboration with the other Category BOP leads and India BOP Lead
  • Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting relationships with business clients in country Leadership Teams, New Product Excellence team, Business Units and global Bold Initiative Leads
  • Educates commercial stakeholders on the value Biopharma Operations Group is delivering to the business/clients
  • Proactively translates understanding of trends in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, competitor strategies, healthcare dynamics, business needs and demands into opportunities for Biopharma Operations to collaboratively across all Service Areas execute value-adding changes regarding Biopharma Operations services
  • Understands the full Biopharma Operations service catalog and addresses client needs as well as helps shape the client s thinking to ensure Biopharma Operations Services are creating optimal business impact
  • Gives timely category insights and works closely with India BOP Lead to achieve category objectives
  • Understands how organizational and market changes financially impact the basic financial principles (cost, structure, buy-up, OpEx) to support the business and make decisions
  • Highlights areas of potential opportunity for new Biopharma Operations services that will support commercial s evolving business needs
  • Supports India BOP Lead for development and execution of operational plan for Biopharma Operations Ensures business demand is managed and fulfilled with excellence/risk management/efficiency
  • Nurtures, leverages and influences a broad and diversified stakeholder network at senior levels internally and externally to drive key decisions across multiple stakeholder groups including GBS, Digital, Legal, Regulatory, Human Resources, Compliance, Procurement, Agile Team and Finance and ensure a smooth daily operation
  • Enables and leads matrix communications and management between the business/clients and Biopharma Operations, with the ability to lead and manage without direct authority and limited information
  • Understands and anticipates business needs and demands and manages business demand for Biopharma Operations services within assigned category to meet client needs Orchestrates service delivery with clients, Biopharma Operations internal stakeholders and/or suppliers/vendors in line with business needs, e.g. to effectively support product launches in collaboration with project managers
  • Ensures implemented services met client expectations and needs by collaborating with Biopharma Operations Service Delivery and Quality Management Serves as the point of contact for information or problem resolution for major (service delivery related) incidents to help resolve them quickly and establish corrective actions to prevent future reoccurrences Identifies pan-BU/pan-Geography or BU opportunities to improve service delivery processes and the Biopharma Operations service delivery model
  • Monitors client satisfaction and deduces measures to increase client satisfaction from gained metrics and insights
  • Advises on how Biopharma Operations can continuously evolve its service delivery model consistent with how the assigned BUs change and to maximize the value delivered to the BUs
  • As is needed, serves to influence business development agreements or service level agreements to ensure excellence in Biopharma Operations service delivery and operations Is an active member of the BOP community in efforts to help improve Business Operations Partner services and evolve the partner mindset and strategy
QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA or equivalent Master s-level education preferred
  • 7 years in the commercial business, preferably in India, Strong digital marketing experience is preferred, Project management and data analytics
  • Cross-BU and/or diversity of job experiences
  • Proven track record of delivering business performance
  • Drive for optimization/excellence
  • Delivery of exceptional customer services and experience
  • Track record for building strong cultures
  • Strong ability to drive collaboration and foster highly productive, functional relationships
  • Demonstrated agility and ability to drive program completion in expedited timelines
