  • Support in the investment strategy development, project filtering and investment decision mechanism designs
  • Drive sector and industry analysis for the deals
  • Build a strong pipeline of venture company leads for the fund management and the investment committee to consider
  • Establish and maintain solid relationships with stakeholders in the China VC ecosystem (e.g. other VC funds, Financial Advisors, Incubators )
  • End to end VC investment project management and execution (from sourcing, project filtering, feasibility analysis and initiation, due diligences, deal completion and portfolio monitoring)
  • Adhering to Standard Chartered corporate investment and LPA policies during the transaction process
  • Support other investment deals outside of China when necessary
  • Assisting fund raising for all SCV portfolio companies, including investments globally as well as ventures built in house
  • Supporting other SCV initiatives including activities of SCV China in Shanghai
Requirements: Required Skills and Experience
  • 2-5 years of investment or related experience (VC/PE, investment banking, private equity, consulting, due diligence)
  • Direct VC/PE investment experience in China a plus
  • Strong network in the China startup/VC ecosystem a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Excel including advanced function
  • Experience with cash flow modelling and investment valuation techniques
  • Ability to produce well designed professional looking Power-point presentations
  • Strong written, analytical and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual in both Mandarin and English as interactions and documentation with wider SCV and SCB team will be in English
  • University Education or higher
