Job Description

Data Extraction and Analytics skills across multiple database platforms. Experience writing SQL queries required. Participate in exploratory and targeted investigations and data analysis projects to identify control weaknesses or risk exposures. Proven experience coordinating multiple projects/assignments simultaneously under minimal supervision and completing assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis. Must demonstrate strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills. Must build relationship with the Audit teams in APAC and help them identify/develop continuous monitoring tests. This role will primarily support Global Banking and Markets business for Corporate Audit. Desired Skills: (Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, and Python).This roles sits within the APAC Audit Audit Automated Testing Operations Center (ATOC) TeamPosition can be based in Singapore, Hong Kong or India.Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the use of data analytics for continuous monitoring of business activities and to enhance and deepen audit test coverage.
  • Contribute to the overall development of the department strategy on automation and data analytics.
  • Sound organizational, analytical, oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to develop, maintain and foster constructive relationships with others.
  • Gathering, analyzing and evaluating business relevant data outside of audits for continuous monitoring of business activities.
  • Ability to work in a very detailed manner as well as to look broadly across a population and develop connections and themes identifying risk and concerns.
  • Work with audit teams to identify automation opportunities, develop and implement data analytics to streamline manual testing processes.
  • Strong technical and analytical abilities, including a detailed understanding of application data quality controls, technical environments and project management.
  • Contribute during audit planning, field work and presentation of findings for assigned processes.
  • Experience with carrying out risk reviews, audits or other similar work.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years relevant experience with data analytics, with demonstrated experience and proficiency in the use of data analytics tools.
  • Candidate must possess Data Extraction and Analytics skills across multiple database platforms.
  • Experience writing SQL queries required, candidates with knowledge in Python is preferable
  • Proven experience coordinating multiple projects/assignments simultaneously under minimal supervision and completing assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive in nature, assertive, inquisitive, analytical, has excellent attention to details.
  • Ability to develop a data-driven approach during audits.
  • Working knowledge of Global Banking and Markets products, process flow and key controls preferable
  • Experience in Python is a plus
