We have over 5,000 staff managing a multi-billion dollar scope of services including Real Estate and Location Strategy; Real Estate Portfolio and Transaction Management; Property Management; Corporate Travel; Corporate Security & Investigations; Corporate Information Management; and Regional Client Services; and Office of the COO.ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES As a highly motivated Project Controls Leads you will establish & lead a team responsible for project delivery process and controls in the area of complex, multi disciplinary, and geographically dispersed real estate project design, development, infrastructure engineering and construction projects. You will provide program level financial controls, standards and tools to support project management of large scale capital programs, ongoing workplace improvements and infrastructure projects. The best candidates will have experience managing large scale capital portfolios and large programs and be able to tolerate ambiguity and demonstrate problem solving leadership with limited oversight. Challenge industry norms and standards from contracting, design development processes and tools to rewards and incentives.Report to: Program Management & Governance Lead, *SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Gather project wide requirements and deliver solutions that satisfy customers needs for process, tools and data structureOwn end to end project controls process, data and tools from design phase to deployment. Including Estimating, Budgeting, Cost Management, Schedule, Risk, Procurement, Change Control, Contracts, Payments and Cash flow.Partner with Financial Control Group to ensure funding and accounting treatment.On behalf of the firm negotiate and resolve all claims and disputes.Manage and optimize end to end project wide reporting for metrics, dashboard, standards management, and communications. Facilitate reporting to Executive Management.Manage project wide strategic supplier negotiations for services including performance measurement (e.g. report cards and QBR)Develop and own process and tools for project cost, benchmarking, templates and forecasting in an integrated information management process from design and engineering to commissioning and handover.Manage financial governance for the Global Capital Program including approvals, audit and complianceSupport controllers / FCG / Tax team on Capital planning, capitalisation data, tax structuringManage contingencies and risk register for projects.The following are the skills and experience required for the role: Bachelor of Engineering / Architecture, Construction Management from NICMAR or equivalent in related technical field. Minimum 15 years of relevant experience. MBA holders an added advantage.Knowledge of large scale global real estate development projects and portfolio programs.Relevant experience in Financial Services sector would be advantageous.
